Welcome to the premier museum of Belgium!
The selection of masterpieces presented here is one which you can discover free of charge in one of the most prestigious spaces of the Royal Museums of Fine Arts of Belgium: the grand entrance hall (Forum), created by the Belgian architect Alphonse Balat in 1880. The monumental statues and paintings evoke the prestige of the past centuries and give a taste of some 20.000 works kept in our six museums! You can find them in the Magritte Museum, in the Fin-de-Siècle Museum, in the Oldmasters Museum, in the Modern Museum (selection), or in our two artist’s workshop houses, those of Antoine Wiertz and Constantin Meunier.
In addition to these splendid collections, we offer you a large number of temporary exhibitions and varied activities for all audiences.
